Tallest mobile tower crane in Belgium for Gheysens

This week a new mobile construction crane type Liebherr MK 140 was delivered.

The mobile tower crane MK 140 is a compact 5-axle vehicle that achieves performance in this crane class that was reserved until today for cranes from the higher axle classes.

Compact City crane can lift in limited space

Installation of exposed concrete with vacuum unit

Our crane truck currently assembles panels of various sizes in exposed concrete with the help of a vacuum lifter. Due to the overhang of the building, there was no possibility to hoist panels from above. Gheysens has developed a special solution for this project with a vacuum unit that also leaves no traces on the decorative panels.

The Sobemai crane & the MIAT crane

The City of Ghent wants to let the rich port history of the Oude Dokken live on in this new district between the Dampoort and the Muide. The four cranes that are already there are supplemented by three other historic cranes. Together they form a beautiful heritage landscape that refers directly to the maritime past of this area.

A state-of-the-art 450t telescopic crane for Gheysens

Since December 2022, Gheysens Cranes’ fleet has been extended by a state-of-the-art telescopic crane with a capacity of 450 tonnes. Thanks to this expansion, Gheysens Cranes is the first in the Benelux to have a Tadano Demag AC 7.450-1 in its fleet.
